Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt in Aliso Viejo

Have eaten yogurt there for years but now under new management. Not enough people on weekends so line to long to wait. Went today and ordered a quart of the Dark Chocolate Gelato which was my fav and only put in 3/4 of container til I requested wanted the full quart so they went back and complied. Got it home and not the same... not as rich and feels watered down. So disappointed....

Overpriced, small portions, rude owners, terrible customer service! 0 stars, go elsewhere!

Last Fall I purchased a $20 Gift Card at this Golden Spoon location. I have been a customer for several years and usually keep a Gift Card for easy access. In January, apparently under new management, my Gift Card was refused. I went four times, each time receiving a different reason why they wouldn't accept my card. Today when the server called the manager again and said "that woman with the gift card is here again", he (Gary) directed me to a website on the back of the card for a refund. The website is for site owners/managers only ~ with a visitor site in development - "check back at a later date". At best this owner doesn't know what he's doing ~ I won't be back there even though it is my neighborhood Golden Spoon. Boo! Hiss!

Delicious yogurt. OK selection of toppings. Could use more fresh fruits ones like strawberries.

I came here for dessert right after grabbing lunch. It was totally worth it! I ordered the thai tea ice cream sandwich and it was pure foodgasm. It was so delicious. But sadly the ice cream started to melt relatively quickly because it was a pretty hot day. I would totally go back for the yummy desserts.

Good service. Decent flavors and toppings. They don't have as many fruit options for toppings as other frozen yogurt places so you get more candy topping. The flavors are more sweet than tart but overall a decent frozen yogurt.

Good amount of toppings just enjoy putting my own on instead of the worker

Soooo good. Fun place to eat ice cream and the flavors are amazing. The only problem is I want it all the time but that's not gonna be healthy for me.

Had a rough day at work and wanted to go in at 2pm..... sign was lit saying open. I walked in with my bff and doors where locked. Unacceptable!!!

I sometimes forget that there's a Golden Spoon nearby with all the Pinkberrys and Yogurtlands in the area but Golden Spoon is one of those oldies but goodies. Good service. Decent flavors and toppings. I just wish they had more 'tart' flavors. Everything here is just so sweet. No fresh fruit that I can see but a lot of crushed candies, nuts, and chocolate. Not my first choice to come here but still a decent yogurt place.

Was just there to pick up frozen yogurt for my boys and for the regular, I paid $5.95 (he wanted cookie dough toppings which were an extra $1) and the yogurt didn't even come to the top of the cup. My other son's mini had more in it. Reminded me why we stopped coming here and started going to creamistry.

Staff is always friedbly. A good amount of outdoor seating and the flavors are always on point.

Went to this location today, 10/22/2019, and the location is out of business. Simple sign on paper and the location is completely wiped clear. This is too bad since it's the only frozen yogurt place in our neighborhood.

Busy location on a Saturday night. The staff was friendly and efficient. Great selection of yogurt and toppings.

I went to the Aliso Viejo location because the Golden Spoon on Crown Valley closed. I ordered 4 regulars and the vanilla looked and odd color, strange and icy. I told the young man who was waiting on me that I didn't want the vanilla like that but he said since he already put it in the cups he would charge me for it, that there was nothing wrong with the yogurt. I should have just left and I'm sorry I didn't, it was a waste of money, the yogurt was strange and inedible. I won't return there.

Golden Spoon has always been my #1 frozen yogurt place! They have the tastiest & smoothest froyo around! I also love that they bring in new & healthy flavors often. I recommend peanut butter, cookies & cream, or salted caramel. I’m sure I’ll be back soon.. I can’t get enough!

Bad

Came by today and got the old fashioned vanilla with chocolate and Butterfinger toppings. Service was good and the yogert tasted like ice cream. My only complaint is thst almost none of the toppings have labels.
